Before you begin
Button names and menu locations may vary slightly between operating systems and clients. This guide covers the general process. For the exact import option, follow the client instructions in your user dashboard and check the current client interface.
Before you start, make sure your device can open websites and have your account username and password ready. Create your account and purchase a plan in the user dashboard; this page explains the steps but doesn’t provide a usable subscription link or installer. To switch devices, sign in to the dashboard on the new device and retrieve your subscription details there—there’s no need to forward a configuration from your old device.
This guide covers a first-time connection. If you already have an account or have completed your purchase, use the contents above to jump to the relevant step. For import errors, switching servers, or billing questions, finish the steps you can and then check Frequently Asked Questions. For background on protocols and server routes, see Protocol Guide.

Create an account
Open the account creation page and follow the prompts to set a username and password. VPNZU doesn’t require an email address to create an account. You’ll use your username and password to access the user dashboard. Before submitting, check that your username is spelled correctly and save your password in a password manager you control. If your browser offers to save your credentials, make sure you’re using your own device first.
After creating your account, open the account overview and make sure it shows the right account before moving on to plan selection. It’s normal not to see an imported subscription yet: the account is where you manage your plan and retrieve subscription details, while the client is where you use the server routes on your device. If you close your browser, select “Log in” on the right side of the site navigation to return to the dashboard. You don’t need to create another account.
We recommend choosing your plan in the same browser to avoid mixing up orders and subscription details from different accounts. First decide whether you need data that resets monthly or a data package you can use until it runs out. Choose the billing option that fits, then place your order.

Choose a plan and place your order
Open the plans section in the user dashboard. Compare plan names, data allowances, and billing terms before choosing. Monthly subscriptions come in three options: ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB, and ¥28/month for 500GB. Data resets monthly on your activation date. For occasional use, data packages are ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, and ¥658/3000GB. They remain valid until used up and never expire. The two product types have different data rules, so don’t compare price alone.
Once you’ve chosen a plan, open its checkout flow in the dashboard. Before submitting, check the plan name, amount due, and order details again, then follow the payment steps shown. VPNZU supports Alipay, WeChat Pay, and USDT; available payment methods depend on the current checkout screen. After paying, return to the dashboard and check that your order and subscription status have updated before continuing.
If your subscription isn’t available on the page right after purchase, refresh the account overview and check the order status. Don’t place a second order just because the page is taking a little time to update. If you upgrade a monthly subscription mid-cycle, the price difference is converted into remaining days. Before changing plans, review the full plan terms. The service has a 60-day money-back guarantee; see the refund policy for details on how to request a refund.

Get your subscription details
Return to the account overview and find your current plan and subscription details. The subscription link lets your client retrieve the server list. Copy it from the dashboard, then switch to the device or client you want to connect with. Don’t mistake the dashboard URL in your browser’s address bar for the subscription link—they serve different purposes. If the page asks you to sign in or choose a plan first, follow the prompts and then return to the overview.
Your subscription link is account information. Import it only into clients you use yourself. When setting up another device, sign in to the dashboard on that device and retrieve the link there. Don’t paste it on a public page or in a group chat. Once the client has saved the subscription, use its update option to refresh the server list. If the list looks out of date, try updating the subscription instead of purchasing again.
Some clients offer both “Add server manually” and “Import subscription from link.” This guide uses the latter because it makes updating the server list easier. After copying the link, check the dashboard’s instructions for your device and client, then follow the next section to find the import option. If the copy button doesn’t respond, check your browser’s clipboard permissions or see the connection and troubleshooting advice in Frequently Asked Questions.

Import on each platform
First, open the client section in the user dashboard and check the setup instructions for your device. VPNZU supports Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and Linux, with unlimited devices. The steps below cover common interfaces; menu names may differ between clients. After importing, check that the server list appears before connecting. Pasting a link doesn’t necessarily mean the subscription has updated successfully.
Windows
Check the dashboard’s instructions for getting a Windows client. Open it and look for an option such as “Subscription,” “Configuration,” or “Add.” Choose import from link, paste the subscription link you copied from the account overview, save it, and update once. Return to the server list and make sure regions are available to select, then choose a server. If the list is blank, first check whether the update completed instead of repeatedly toggling the connection switch.
macOS
Open the dashboard’s instructions for macOS clients. After launching the client, look for subscription management in the main window or menu bar. Some clients place “Import from link” in the configuration menu. Paste the link, save it, and update the subscription. Check that server names appear in the list. If macOS asks for permission to add a network configuration, read the system prompt and follow the instructions for your client before choosing an exit region.
Android
Check the dashboard for instructions on getting an Android client, then open the option to add a subscription in the app. It may be labeled “Subscription,” “Import from URL,” or shown as a plus icon. Choose link import, paste the subscription, save it, and refresh the server list. When connecting for the first time, Android may ask you to authorize a network connection. Confirm that the prompt refers to the client you’re using before continuing. If no regions appear after importing, return to the subscription page and check the update status.
iOS
First, check the dashboard’s instructions for iOS clients and follow the link to the relevant app page. Open the client, go to subscription management or add a configuration, then choose import from link and paste the subscription link from your account overview. Save it and update the server list, then select an exit region. The first connection may bring up a system prompt to confirm the network configuration. Confirm it, wait for the client to show that you’re connected, and then verify your exit IP. Don’t rely on an import-success message alone to confirm the connection.
Linux is also supported. Check the dashboard for the latest client and import instructions. Whatever device you use, if your client has a subscription update button, try updating when the server list hasn’t synced. Client interfaces vary, so you don’t need to find buttons with the exact names used here. Just follow the sequence: add a subscription, paste the link, save, and update the list.

Connect and verify
In the client’s server list, choose an exit region based on the service you want to access, then select a specific server. Once the client shows that you’re connected, open the IP lookup page and check whether the displayed exit IP and region match the server you selected. For the most reliable check, use the same device and browser you plan to use with that connection. A check from another device may not reflect the connection you just made.
If the client says you’re connected but the lookup shows an unexpected exit, first check the selected server, the client’s connection mode, and whether your browser is using that connection. Then reopen the lookup page. You can also try another server in the same region and check again. An IP region is one clue when checking your exit; it doesn’t guarantee access to a particular website. The service you’re visiting may also make decisions based on your account region or its own rules.
Once you’ve verified the connection, you can use the server route for your needs. If you’re accessing AI tools, check which regions the service supports. For streaming, make sure the selected region matches the library you need. To learn when direct routes, relays, IEPL dedicated lines, and different protocols are useful, see the Protocol and Network Routes Reference. This guide sticks to the steps needed for your first connection.

Ongoing use and troubleshooting
For everyday use, choose a server from the list already imported into your client. If server names or regions change, update the subscription in the client. Monthly subscription data resets each month on your activation date. Data packages remain valid until used up and never expire. To check your current plan, order, or subscription status, return to the user dashboard rather than relying on cached information in the client.
For connection failures, subscriptions that won’t update, or billing questions, browse Frequently Asked Questions by topic. To compare regions and server types, start with Global Servers, then read the Protocol Guide. These pages provide context for choosing a server; they aren’t needed to complete your first connection using this guide.
